The Grand Canyon

March 21, 2015  •  2 Comments

Finally, after seven years of living in Arizona, I experienced the Grand Canyon for the first time.  The overwhelming vastness and beauty of the canyon’s South Rim was the ideal place to relax, reflect, be at peace, and of course photograph!

What surprised me the most is how much the canyon can “change” depending on the light.  And as photographers, we live for the light!   My photographs are the way the canyon looked to me at that particular moment.  No heavy digital editing was done here.   Like every person who has photographed the canyon before, my photos do not do it justice.  That’s impossible.  You truly have to see and experience it yourself.

Enjoy the splendor of the canyon through my eyes and I hope this encourages you to get outside and explore your natural surroundings this spring!
